Peyton is a month old...already!

So Peyton was a month old yesterday. Seriously time...slow down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rest assured that a full on photo shoot went on at our house last night. She was a lucky girl and had not only one photographer taking her pictures but two! Brother wants to be just like daddy and anytime daddy is taking pics of sister he is right there in the mix with his camera! He even helped give her a bath to get her all ready for her photo shoot. He is the best big brother ever! She has slept an 8 hour stretch 3 times now and this momma is beyond grateful for that. On the nights that she sleeps great it always seems that brother decides to be up at 6am or earlier some days, like this morning at 5:47! Oh the joys of a newborn and toddler. We wouldn't trade these days for anything though. Well , maybe 10 hours of uninterrupted sleep. I kid, I kid.

Outfit #2 because every photo shoot requires numerous outfit changes when your closet is full of more clothes than you can possibly wear before you outgrow them! Her Great Aunt Cyndi and Uncle Royce gave her this precious outfit.

Life with Peyton Ryleigh and Greyson Michael

Well, seeing as how she was a month old yesterday and I haven't written a blog post since before she was born you can guess just how crazy life has been with TWO kiddos! Just last night Jeremy and I were talking in bed and we both said we couldn't believe how blessed we are to have not one healthy kiddo but TWO! God is good and he knew my story wasn't the one the numerous doctors and specialist made it out to be!

We are trying to get on a schedule but we aren't rushing anything. It will happen when it does. Greyson is adjusting quite well with the expected tantrums and meltdowns. They are far and few between but they are something fierce when they hit! A lot of grace has been handed out in this house the last 4 weeks or so. It is a learning process for all of us involved. We were blessed to have lots of help. My sister was here for the first 5 days and my mom the following 8, yes 8 days! It was a huge help to have them here and to give us some much needed one on one time with Greyson to help ease the adjustment.

Now on to the stuff you really want to read...Peyton Ryleigh was born at 7:43am on Monday, March 28, 2016. She weighed in at 7lbs 14 oz and was 19" long. She is our petite little thing compared to her big brothers birth stats. :) She was a pro with latching and eating from the get go. I am so glad she knew exactly what to do and did it with no problems at all. She has been a great baby just like her big brother. We have been blessed with great sleepers and even better eaters. lol She's going to follow in her brother's footsteps and be a chubbers before too long.
