Greyson the tool man Badder

Greyson is officially obsessed with all things tools. Actually, he's pretty much obsessed with anything that spins...air conditioners, fans, propellers, drill bits, tops, etc. I have a feeling he is going to be our little engineer. He will be taking apart computers and putting them back together before too long. Sounds like someone else who lives in this house.

Greyson received a jigsaw and a tool bench along with all of the tools from his Pappy & Pammy for Christmas. He got the package in the mail last night and Daddy couldn't get it put together fast enough. He stayed up an hour past his bedtime playing and then woke up at 2am and came into the living room to play again. He was promptly escorted back to his room and told that he could get out of bed at 7:30 and play again. lol

Rockport Roadtrip

Greyson and I decided to road trip it to Rockport on Tuesday to visit family one last time before my OB says I can't travel anymore. We stayed at Coco and Uncle Larry's and had a fabulous time. Greyson makes himself at home when we are there. lol We got to hangout with Nana and Papa on Tuesday afternoon/evening for a family dinner.

Greyson and I hung out with Trey and Bella while Coco covered a shift at the restaurant on Wednesday. A perk of her working there...free food for this 30 week preggo! The food is home cooked and delish!  I'll confess that we went back and had lunch on Friday before Greyson and I headed home because it is THAT good!!

We also made a trip to Memorial Park and played on the playscape. Greyson took orders at his restaurant and served up some yummy food. Coco told us about an awesome duck pond and we ventured over to see the ducks and turtles. Greyson thought it was tons of fun! Next time I'll pack some food for the animals.

Thursday we met some family friends at the Rockport Aquarium. It was mine and Greyson's first time to go there. It is a really cute little aquarium that is free...bonus! He had a great time watching the fish, crabs, eels, and most importantly playing in the sand filled boat for treasures. He even got to pick out a shell to take home.

Greyson helped Coco with the kid's Bible lesson for their homeschooling.
He also thought Bella could use a little help on her spelling lesson for the day. ha!

We headed back to San Antonio on Friday at nap time so that we could be home when Jeremy got off work and spend the weekend together working around the house. I am officially in the nesting stage of this pregnancy and am itching to get Peyton's nursery started and finished before she gets here.

Fun-filled Weekend

Greyson and I hung out in the front yard for 2 hours on Friday afternoon enjoying the gorgeous weather and waiting for Daddy to get off and come outside and play with us. Greyson rode his motorcycle, weedeated the yard, and gave Jeremy quite the workout.....he has become Greyson's personal horse!

On Saturday we headed to Cedar Park to spend some time with Uncle Jason, Aunt Becky, Hank and JoJo. Daddy had a photo shoot for a fancy pants ridiculously expensive sports car, a McLaren, for his portfolio and we tagged along. Greyson had a fabulous time hanging with the cousins and playing with all of their big kid toys.  In fact, we had so much fun that we didn't take a single picture.

We snuck in a quick stop at Uncle Jon, Aunt Cherry and Grammie's new place to check it out and get some much needed kisses and snuggles in. Greyson and I are both looking forward to having Jeremy for an extra day this weekend since he is off tomorrow for MILK Day, yay!

A boy and his blender

Who would have thought that a $5 blender that I found on clearance at Homegoods/TJ Maxx would bring such joy to Greyson's life? He has told me, since purchasing it on Tuesday afternoon, about 5,284 times "Thank You Mommy! I love my blender!" Daddy and I have been served every kind of drink you can imagine. His favorite is strawberry, milk and banana. Gotta love this little guys imagination!

Yes, that is a whole chicken in his blender! LOL
