Peyton Update

I have my last OB appt, 39 wks, tomorrow at 9:30. My doctor told me that if I had dilated at least 2 more cm, I'd need to be at least at 3cm, then he'd admit me and we would do the c section. I'm praying for this since my feet and ankles have started swelling really badly these last 3 weeks! Also Greyson is so ready. Every day he asks us if we can have a baby today. lol If my doctor doesn't admit me tomorrow then we are still on track for the regular plan of the c section being at 7:30 Monday morning. Either way, please say prayers. The closer it gets the more anxious I am becoming.
On the agenda for today is more nesting: washing sheets, dusting, scrubbing counter tops, sweeping, scrubbing tubs, etc. I'm trying to force her out.

Life Lately: Kiddie Park & Family Picture edition

We have been keeping plenty busy around here while we wait for Peyton to arrive. Greyson's little friend Preslee, the one who I used to keep, turned 3 on the 11th of March and we attended her birthday party at the Kiddie Park downtown. Greyson had an absolute blast.

We also took Spring family pictures with a couple maternity shoots thrown in. My girlfriend Amanda took them for us. She is super talented and we needed some good pics with daddy included. Jeremy does an amazing job of getting some great shots of me and Greyson but we don't have many of him since he is usually behind the camera. I'm trying to figure out how to make them into a slideshow to put on the blog. That is turning out to be more technical than I can comprehend and it's looking like I'll need Jeremy's help for that. So, it'll be a few weeks or months until that shows up on the blog. lol

Peyton's Nursery and an update

The nesting is in full effect and her nursery is ALMOST complete. Her furniture belonged to her great grandpa, my mom's daddy. I love that it has a story behind it and it's not just some store bought furniture. These pics are just off my phone. Daddy is in the final stretch of studying for his huge Cisco certification test he will take this Friday, March 11th...please pray he passes it...so he hasn't been able to snap any professional pics of the nursery just yet. Greyson is patiently waiting his baby sister and I am impatiently waiting. HA! I was 1 cm dilated and 30 % effaced at my appt at the OB on Friday! It's the beginning of the end and I for one am happy. I'd like to be able to lay down to sleep and breathe and get comfortable again, even if it's only for a few short hours at a time. :)
